best boats for the family?
My husband and I have about 20K to spend on a boat – AWE have three little boys 2,4, & 6 We need a boat that does everything – any reccomendations? We want tot UBE, skiing ect … but relax, but … I know – I've heard it all "is a boat a hole in the water to flush your money, but we have the money, the economy presents us with the opportunity to do much and my husband was placed on the water – so he wants his boys to be too … so suggestions? Ponton? Bridge boat? Bowrider? Thank you in advance for any advice … we have a family member who owns a marina and offers to sell us a brand new 2008 Bentley pontoon cruise from 24 feet with 150 hp engine updated with everything thrown in for 19k …. take it or keep looking?
Have to agree with your husband out on the water is great for the whole family. Regarding a pontoon boat, I'm not a big fan, but you could really style. But remember when you buy a new boat soon you take delivery you take a blow to his value. You should take a look at what is available and used relatively new. You can get a great Bargains hours lower in this economy and as long as you have a boat that is checked on it should go. Search on www.yachtworld.com and type in a brand or price you want. Look for the pontoon boat and see what they're going to use. Boston Whaler, Searay, Pursuit, etc. are boats Topline Objective bargain prices.
